Throughout his career, he has worked as a traumatologist at the University Hospital of Bordeaux and at the Regional Hospital of Dax, France, where he was responsible for coordinating care in spinal surgery and trauma pathology.
Among his most notable academic achievements, Dr. Riojas is a member of prestigious international medical associations such as the French Society of Endoscopic Surgery and Percutaneous Techniques of the Spine (SOFTER), the French Society of Spine Surgery (SFCR), and has been recognized as an Honorary Member of the Mexican Society of Spine Surgeons (AMCICO).
